What separates the S2000 from a CAS TP-1 price computing scale is its 800 item memory back up (TP-1 only offers 18) and RS232 interface for data communication with computerized cash register. Other types of cash registers and printers will not work because it requires a computer to transfer data. The other difference regards available options.
