The MECMESIN LCP/S high precision lever operated manual test stand has been designed to facilitate testing on a repetitive basis. Accuracy is achieved by adjusting the setting of the gauge and base plate to ensure perfect fixture alignment.MECMESIN LCP/S stands are supplied complete with an adjustable stop and a fine adjustment thimble, which ensure that the moving crosshead stops at the same pre-set position during each test. LCP/S manual test stands are supplied with a single gear ratio which allows you to carry out compression and tension tests by pulling or pushing on the lever. Compression tests are usually carried out with the gauge mounted on the moving crosshead and are actioned by pulling the lever downwards. This downward movement is an attractive feature when carrying out tensile tests. The gauge in this instance will be mounted to the fixed crosshead, and with the aid of an optional tension block module, the accessory holding the sample can be secured to the moving crosshead.
